Position:	Certified Nurses Aide / 4th Floor / PRN #3181 - 04/19/12
Department:	4th Floor
Hours:	PRN (Week-ends, holidays and nights required)
Summary:	Provides basic nursing care to pre and postoperative patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists in preparation of patient beds for admissions, and postoperative surgical patients. Assists with transfers and discharges. Transports patients to and from various departments. Assists patient with dressing and undressing. Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure and intake/output measurements. Demonstrates knowledge of infection control policies and is able to provide general care for these patients and avoid cross contamination. Reports any changes in condition or behavior of patients to appropriate nurse. To apply, please click here.
Requirements:	High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. State Nurse Aide certification required. Has successfully completed the Medicaid training program approved by the state. Hospital experience preferred. Current CPR certification required. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and do heavy lifting.
