The Surgery Department at Highlands Regional Medical Center strives to meet the needs of our surgical patients. Our qualified surgeons use state of the art equipment to perform some of the most advanced surgical procedures. Our surgical team of technicians and nurses partner with our surgeons to provide our patients with the best in quality care. We care about your surgical experience, from the time our patients are scheduled until they are discharged home. We are proud of the many services we provide from Pre-Admission Testing, a comfortable Outpatient Surgery department, to a caring staff in the Recovery Room. We also employ a skilled Central Sterile processing unit to assist with our instrumentation. Our Infusion Therapy (IV Therapy) accommodates many patients so they may have their treatment close to home. Our team is dedicated to a safe, comfortable environment for all our patients.
